MASTER IREN – Campus Channel

The Innovation and Regulation in Digital Services Chair is a key support of the Master IREN (Network Industry and Digital Economy)

This M2 is managed by a multidisciplinary team from a partnership between Paris Dauphine University, Paris Sud University, Ecole Polytechnique, Supélec and Telecom ParisTech. Focused on economics and management, it is intended to train managers, consultants, contractors or researchers specialized networks and innovation. Partnerships with startups and incubators as well as large high-tech companies or public authorities (regulators) provide many opportunities in the digital, telecoms, energy, electronics, transportation, media and many service industries.

As it was the case last year, Joëlle Toledano and Eric Brousseau, members of the teaching team, will hold an “oral” on Campus Channel on Saturday, December 5th at 12am.

8th ICT Paris Conference

The Economics of Information and Communications Technologies

Paris, October 2-3, 2015

The 8th conference on Economics of Information and Communications Technologies, organized by the Innovation & Regulation in Digital Services Chair took place in Paris, October 2 and 3, 2015. Academic researchers did present theoritical, empirical as well as policy-oriented articles.

Tommaso Valetti (Imperial College London) and Matthijs Wildenbeest (Kelley School of Business) were invited as keynote speakers.

Digital Economics Summer Program

The Innovation & Regulation in Digital Services Chair, together with Rennes 1 University, organized the annual Digital Economics Summer Program in Rennes, July 6th and 7th 2015. About fifty researchers from different French Universities and “Grandes Ecoles” addressed during two days  research topics on digital economics.

Digital Economics Summer Program

Organized by the Innovation & Regulation in Digital Services Chair, the Digital Economics Summer Program gathered in Paris, last July 7th and 8th, about thirty researchers from different French Universities and “Grandes Ecoles”. These researchers, under the authority of Nicolas Curien, Emeritus Professor at CNAM and associate researcher at the IRDS Chair, presented their work and discussed their main conclusions. Diverse topics were discussed such as “Cooperation and competition in the web”, “Online Piracy”, “Management and regulation of content services”,” Open innovation and regulation “,” Internet and territory “and” Protection of privacy “.
